Elijah

Our official name for our baby boy is Elijah Althof....for now anyway.  A nice, strong, biblical name for the strong baby he is.  We will call him Eli for short. (Like Eli Manning).  We expect great things from him and the doctor even said she wants an autograph. :)  

As for the middle name, we are still thinking.  I like Tyler.  Tyler likes Judah.  Maybe Jay, or Gerard...these have been mentioned.  The good news is, they all mean something important to us.  So no matter what the  name becomes, we are always reminded of our blessing.

    oh...I'm SO glad you asked! lol
    ok, I LOVE the name Elijah (Eli--probably one of my favorites). And I love the name Judah. I just don't like the two together. They just don't "roll" together, know what I mean? I think it's that they both end in ah. Is it just me?
    Save Judah for the next boy. I can see you two someday with two boys named eli and jude. Oh I love it!! And they'll be as close as you and Kate.
    I'm getting way ahead.....I also like Elijah Tyler, and it's always nice for a boy to be named after his daddy.
    And of course, I like Gerard, too.
    Kyle, get in line, boy.
